Caminostones

You found a traveling stone!

Part of an inspiring artproject with travelling miniatures and art on the walking trails.

These unique painted stones travel around the world. Every travelling stone carries its own story or message, of a participant or about the trail. Here you find info about this project.
Below the story of this stone, location yourney and meetings with hikers.

The miniature, location and message.

This stone is painted with a free bird for Robert:

“This free bird is Bonelli’s eagle (Aquila fasciata). A bird of prey that can be found in Southern Europe, Africa and Asia. The Spanish region of Extremadura is known for its special nature with many bird species to be found, including this medium-sized eagle.
The bird is named after the Italian ornithologist and Franco Andrea Bonelli.
It is very fast as it dives for its prey from a high altitude, catching smaller mammals and flying birds.”

This stone started travelling on 2021-11-04.

This artproject wants to pleasantly surprise hikers through stories and miniature art. A second goal is to initiate a new form of connection and awareness, through art and social media. The participant and I are looking forward to your response on this stone story!
