Caminostones

You found a traveling stone!

Part of an inspiring artproject with travelling miniatures and art on the walking trails.

These unique painted stones travel around the world. Every travelling stone carries its own story or message, of a participant or about the trail. Here you find info about this project.
Below the story of this stone, location yourney and meetings with hikers.

The miniature, location and message.

This stone is for the Spanish black pig:

“Also known as the Ibérico pig. An animal species that can be found in the south west of Spain, among others in the mountains of Sierra Norte de Sevilla.
The species is descended from the Southern European wild boar. In the winter period, the animal lives for a large part on acorns, which can be found in abundance in the vast meadows in this area.
The pig is an intelligent animal, with a good sense of smell.”

This stone started travelling on 2021-10-29.

This artproject wants to pleasantly surprise hikers through stories and miniature art. A second goal is to initiate a new form of connection and awareness, through art and social media. The participant and I are looking forward to your response on this stone story!
