This is recurring on the Camino. Here and there you find memorials and photos of people who have died along the way.”

“Jose Luis Salvator lived from 1942 until 1995. He was one of the founders of the St. James Society in Seville and also the contemporary Via de la Plata.
The stone was placed at this memorial where he died, while he was marking the route on this location.

Habe einen dieser Steine gefunden und mitgenommen. Werde ihn in den nächsten Tagen am Pilgerweg “Sebaldusweg” am Heiligenstein in Weyer, Österreich, beim Denkmal des Hl. Sebaldus, ablegen.
